In the quiet, beautiful setting of Montpellier, Quebec, our team spanning Ottawa, Montreal, Philadelphia, and the Philippines, gathered for a memorable two-day annual retreat. It was a great meeting of minds and an important opportunity to bond, reflect, and envision the future of our organization.

People & Culture Services

This was our first retreat since we began offering our People & Culture services to clients. We spent a lot of time on exercises we now offer externally. They enhanced our understanding and appreciation of each other, showing how great teams are built on mutual respect and shared experiences.

Bonding Across Borders

One of our focuses was deepening connections. Bringing together our team included our new colleagues from Philadelphia after acquiring their web development agency. It was the perfect chance to have meaningful conversations face-to-face and better understand each other to further build our sense of community.

Transparency and Triumphs

As a proud B Corp certified business, transparency is in our DNA. Every annual retreat we share our revenue and profit with our entire team and celebrate our collective achievements over the past year. By openly discussing our successes and areas for growth, we reinforce our commitment to honest and open communication.

Planning with Purpose

We dedicated time to strategic planning, setting ambitious yet attainable goals. Our discussions centred around enhancing our impact while ensuring every team member felt they were a big part of the direction we’ve laid out.

Unforgettable Moments

Beyond the boardroom, our retreat was filled with laughter and relaxation—from cooking together and playing ping pong to kayaking and enjoying the hot tub. These great memories further tightened our group.

Reflective Closure

As the retreat drew to a close, each team member shared their thoughts and feelings. Our Chief Creative Officer, Rob Hyams, who has been to over 40 agency retreats and even organized some of them himself, praised this event as the best he’s ever attended. Martin Ozfirat, our Traffic Manager, spoke about the sense of belonging he feels every day at work.
