TINA PISANI - ART DIRECTOR
After a 15 year career in Montreal as a magazine designer, Tina has made a name for herself as one of the leading pioneers in Apple's digital newsstand magazine revolution. She created digital interactive magazines for for Quebec's largest media giant Quebecor (TVA publications) and has helped developed the interactive digital news iPad app for the Ottawa Citizen and the Montreal Gazette.
Wanting to continue her design journey, she obtained her diploma in web design and content integration. This allowed her to acquire the skills to design both beautiful and effective websites.
She also got her Facebook certification in order to develop her interest in social media strategy and management.
She's pretty awesome all around if you ask me!
Rob Barber: Strategy Director
With over 30 years of Sales and Marketing experience, Rob’s digital strategies are customized for each of our clients. Working with stakeholders, account managers and the delivery team, Rob’s leadership has spurred Nexus Digital’s success in the Fundraising and NFP industries. Rob’s work with the Ottawa Foodbank and the CHEO foundation has helped both organizations transform their fundraising efforts from traditional methods into the successful digital campaigns.
JORDAN DANGER KENT - SENIOR MARKETING STRATEGIST
Jordan is a master of human behaviour and consumer drive; she leverages this talent to create clever yet genuine brand growth strategies, advise on product development, and direct improvements in UI/UX. Her wide range of knowledge makes her one of the most in-touch content marketers in the field.
Jordan is a critically acclaimed author of several blogs and has freelanced for numerous paper and digital publications. She has been invited twice to read at Blog Out Loud Ottawa, and as part of the Ottawa Writers' Festival.
She also received recognition as one of Ottawa’s Forty Under 40 in 2017 for her lengthy and colourful communications career in both the public and non-profit sectors.
Jordan also teaches and develops curriculum at the college level, at Algonquin College in the school of media and design.
Her career has been varied but there have always been some elements of writing, design, and visual arts throughout her CV.
She is an accomplished public speaker and trainer, with a decade's experience and a range of facilitation training.
Annik Daoust – Operations manager
Annik has spent the 15 years in working in the media industry where she has evolved into many different roles, from helping sales teams implementing processes and structure, to managing administrative and creative teams and developing a client service framework.
She joined the team at KarmaDharma for the challenge of building something from the ground up, and putting her organizational magic to work!
Annik's brain sees the world as if it is filled with small boxes, with the most interesting part being the empty space between them, where she can conjure up new solutions and new possibilities to bring it all together.
PETER georgariou - FOUNDER & ceo
Peter's mission in life is to be of service to others.
At KarmaDharma, that takes the form of helping businesses have the proper structures, strategies and and marketing plans to help them achieve their goals and dreams. In both cases, he strives to help them make the most of their potential and their ability to impact the communities in which they live.
He has over 18 years experience in the media business which includes sales, marketing and operations. He has managed the operations of several radio stations, overseen the sales strategy and operations for 25 radio stations across Quebec and helped to roll out the iHeartRADIO brand across Canada.
Over the years, he has worked with hundreds of SME’s helping them grow their businesses. That process always starts with an assessment of where they are today and an in-depth evaluation of what could be improved internally before implementing any marketing strategies.
As an entrepreneur and a leader, he focuses on 3 main areas: self-awareness, empathy and systems thinking.
Seeing as he will be a work in progress until the end of his days, he approaches each and every day as an opportunity to grow and contribute.
SARAH MIN - Ms. SOCIAL MEDIA
Karma Dharma is the start of Sarah’s journey in the marketing industry.
Sarah is certified Inbound Marketer on HubSpot helping clients with their lead generation strategies including social media marketing, content management, web analytics and search engine optimization.
She is also social media strategist developing content on various social media platforms assisting our clients with their business growth.
In addition to working with clients, Sarah also contributes her time to Generate U: A non-profit organization helping children and youth develop the confidence, competencies and courage to create a life they love. She has contributed in developing the youth programs, and now assists the organization with social media strategies to create more awareness.
She is a serious foodie who dreams of having her own Youtube Channel where she gets paid to go try out new restaurants. Please call her to fund her eating habits.
Jayson Peltzer - Web Strategist
Jayson is a web strategist who strives to help people, organizations, and businesses solve their web technology and information management challenges.
His passion for web technology began in 1998 as a web developer. Logging over 30,000 hours of experience creating websites, he has gained industry expertise derived from over 15 years solving information management problems with web application technologies. He believes that in IT, we should never take the human element out of the equation.
Jayson also specializes in Intranet web modernizations helping organizations overcome the obstacles to increasing engagement, decreasing turnover, and creating an empowered workforce. In 2009, he architected and led the implementation of the first large-scale Intranet platform built on Drupal in the Government of Canada. He authored The Intranet Roadmap to Collaboration in 2011, a white paper on how to leverage Web 2.0 technologies such as Drupal or other Web Content Management Systems to foster a collaborative and engaged workforce while furthering the organization's mission.
He has consulted on several key web-based initiatives for the Federal Government of Canada such as Open Data, Prime Minister Harper's website, Prime Minister Trudeau's website, and the GC Intranet. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, and graduate in Management of Information Systems from the University of Ottawa.
