Moins de 10 % des PDG figurant au palmar\u00e8s Fortune 500 sont des femmes. R\u00e9fl\u00e9chissez-y un instant.<\/p>\n<p>Nous connaissons les statistiques, qui sont, bien franchement, exasp\u00e9rantes. Ce dont on parle moins, c\u2019est \u00ab la marche manquante \u00bb dans l\u2019\u00e9chelle du leadership. En effet, les femmes sont promues \u00e0 des postes de direction 14 % moins souvent que les hommes. Le r\u00e9sultat? Les femmes sont moins nombreuses \u00e0 acc\u00e9der \u00e0 des postes de haute direction, et l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux \u00e9chelons sup\u00e9rieurs devient de plus en plus difficile au fur et \u00e0 mesure qu\u2019elles grimpent dans la hi\u00e9rarchie.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous avez l\u2019impression d\u2019entendre toujours le m\u00eame refrain, c\u2019est parce que, malheureusement, c\u2019est le cas. Les milieux de travail n\u2019ont pas vraiment \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7us en prenant en consid\u00e9ration la situation particuli\u00e8re des femmes. La maternit\u00e9? La m\u00e9nopause? L\u2019\u00e9quilibre travail-famille? Ces complexit\u00e9s ne sont pas prises en compte par de nombreux syst\u00e8mes organisationnels.<\/p>\n<p>Pourtant, lorsque les femmes dirigent, les r\u00e9sultats parlent d\u2019eux-m\u00eames :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Les entreprises o\u00f9 les femmes sont plus nombreuses \u00e0 occuper des postes de direction affichent un rendement sup\u00e9rieur de 21 % \u00e0 celui de leurs concurrents.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Les \u00e9quipes de genres mixtes g\u00e9n\u00e8rent 25 % de revenus suppl\u00e9mentaires gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019innovation.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Les conseils d\u2019administration compos\u00e9s d\u2019un plus grand nombre de femmes r\u00e9duisent consid\u00e9rablement les risques li\u00e9s \u00e0 la gouvernance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Les avantages sont ind\u00e9niables. Alors, comment combler l\u2019\u00e9cart?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>La chose la plus puissante que nous puissions contr\u00f4ler<\/h2>\n<p>Nous savons tous et toutes que les changements syst\u00e9miques se font \u00e0 un pas de tortue. Cela ne signifie pas que nous devons cesser de militer en faveur de tels changements, mais en attendant, nous devons agir l\u00e0 o\u00f9 nous le pouvons.<\/p>\n<p>Le changement le plus puissant que nous puissions op\u00e9rer commence \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de nous-m\u00eames.<\/p>\n<p>Le leadership ne consiste pas seulement \u00e0 diriger les autres. Il implique d\u2019abord de se diriger soi-m\u00eame. Pendant des ann\u00e9es, j\u2019ai lutt\u00e9 contre le syndrome de l\u2019imposteur, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire que je doutais d\u2019\u00eatre \u00ab assez dou\u00e9e \u00bb pour les r\u00f4les que j\u2019occupais. Je m\u2019accrochais fermement \u00e0 ce vieux mantra, \u00ab fais semblant jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que tu r\u00e9ussisses pour vrai \u00bb, alors que ce dont j\u2019avais vraiment besoin, c\u2019\u00e9tait de faire face \u00e0 mes ins\u00e9curit\u00e9s jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que je r\u00e9ussisse pour vrai.<\/p>\n<p>Par quoi ce changement d\u2019attitude s\u2019est-il traduit concr\u00e8tement? J\u2019ai rep\u00e9r\u00e9 les domaines dans lesquels j\u2019avais besoin d\u2019aide, j\u2019ai \u00e9labor\u00e9 un plan pour combler ces lacunes, et j\u2019ai d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 les efforts n\u00e9cessaires pour y arriver. Cela n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 facile (et \u00e7a ne l\u2019est toujours pas), mais le r\u00e9sultat fut une v\u00e9ritable transformation.<\/p>\n<p>Le leadership n\u2019exige pas la perfection ou la r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 tout. Il nous demande plut\u00f4t de nous montrer sous notre vrai jour, avec nos d\u00e9fauts, nos incertitudes et tout le reste. C\u2019est l\u00e0 que se produit la v\u00e9ritable croissance, non seulement pour vous-m\u00eames, mais aussi pour toutes les personnes que vous dirigez.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Les cinq piliers du leadership int\u00e9rieur<\/h2>\n<p>Pour devenir des leaders \u00e9panouies, les femmes ont besoin d\u2019outils qui favorisent l\u2019authenticit\u00e9, la r\u00e9silience et la port\u00e9e. Ces cinq piliers ont absolument chang\u00e9 la donne pour moi :<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><b>1. Conscience de soi<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Soyez au fait de vos points forts, de vos angles morts et de vos d\u00e9clencheurs. Remarquez comment votre dialogue int\u00e9rieur fa\u00e7onne votre confiance et vos actions. La connaissance de soi jette les bases d\u2019une croissance intentionnelle.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><b>2. Vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 et courage<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Montrez-vous sous votre vrai jour, m\u00eame si cela vous semble risqu\u00e9. La vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 n\u2019est pas une faiblesse. Au contraire, c\u2019est l\u00e0 que naissent la confiance, la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et la connexion. Le courage implique \u00e9galement d\u2019aborder les conversations difficiles, mais cruciales, avec honn\u00eatet\u00e9 et empathie.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><b>3. Mission et valeurs<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Faites correspondre votre style de leadership \u00e0 ce qui compte vraiment pour vous. Lorsque vos actions refl\u00e8tent vos valeurs, vous \u00eates en mesure de diriger avec int\u00e9grit\u00e9 et d\u2019inspirer les autres \u00e0 faire de m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><b>4. Empathie et connexion<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Le leadership se concentre sur les personnes. \u00c9coutez attentivement, abordez les choses sous l\u2019angle de l\u2019accompagnement, faites preuve de compassion et favorisez la confiance. Pour diriger efficacement, il est essentiel de nouer des relations fructueuses.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><b>5. R\u00e9silience et adaptabilit\u00e9 <\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Les mauvaises nouvelles sont in\u00e9vitables, mais la r\u00e9silience est ce qui vous permettra de les surmonter avec ing\u00e9niosit\u00e9. Il s\u2019agit de garder son attention sur les solutions, d\u2019apprendre des d\u00e9fis rencontr\u00e9s et de s\u2019adapter aux circonstances changeantes, tout en faisant preuve de stabilit\u00e9 et de sang-froid.<\/p>\n<p>Ces piliers ne sont pas de simples th\u00e9ories. Ce sont des pratiques quotidiennes qui m\u2019aident \u00e0 relever les d\u00e9fis, \u00e0 me montrer authentique et \u00e0 diriger d\u2019une mani\u00e8re qui correspond v\u00e9ritablement \u00e0 la personne que je suis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>R\u00e9flexion sur le parcours<\/h2>\n<p>Si je pouvais revenir en arri\u00e8re et me donner un conseil durant ma jeunesse, voici ce que je dirais : <b>Nul besoin de tracer tout ton chemin \u00e0 l\u2019avance, mais tu dois contribuer activement. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>J\u2019ai eu des mentors qui m\u2019ont donn\u00e9 des ailes et d\u2019autres qui m\u2019ont appris ce qu\u2019il ne fallait pas faire. Dans les deux cas, ces personnes ont influenc\u00e9 mon parcours de leadership. Mais ce qui a vraiment eu une influence majeure pour moi, c\u2019est d\u2019investir dans ma propre croissance, en prenant confiance en moi, en apprenant de mes \u00e9checs, et en restant curieuse et \u00e0 l\u2019aff\u00fbt de toutes les mani\u00e8res qui pourraient me permettre de contribuer activement \u00e0 ma propre am\u00e9lioration.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Red\u00e9finissons le leadership<\/h2>\n<p>Nous avons besoin d\u2019un changement syst\u00e9mique, mais nous ne pouvons pas nous permettre d\u2019attendre pendant que nous travaillons \u00e0 son av\u00e8nement.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsque les femmes font preuve d\u2019un bon leadership envers elles-m\u00eames, elles inspirent les autres \u00e0 grimper les \u00e9chelons. Et lorsque davantage de femmes grimpent les \u00e9chelons, nous changeons non seulement la culture, mais aussi le syst\u00e8me lui-m\u00eame et les attentes qui le sous-tendent.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est pourquoi je m\u2019appr\u00eate \u00e0 lancer <i><b>Lead from Within<\/b><\/i> au d\u00e9but de 2025. C\u2019est la formation que j\u2019aurais aim\u00e9 recevoir plus t\u00f4t dans ma carri\u00e8re. Je l\u2019ai con\u00e7ue pour aider les femmes \u00e0 cultiver leur confiance en elles, \u00e0 franchir les obstacles et \u00e0 diriger avec authenticit\u00e9 dans un monde qui ne leur facilite pas toujours la t\u00e2che.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous lisez ce billet et que vous vous dites \u00ab Je ne sais pas si je suis pr\u00eate pour \u00e7a \u00bb, voici mon message : Vous l\u2019\u00eates.
