Elle a toutefois accept\u00e9 \u00e0 une condition\u00a0: nous devions choisir une race de petite taille et hypoallerg\u00e8ne qui ne perd pas ses poils.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nous avons donc entam\u00e9 les recherches, et avons finalement opt\u00e9 pour une chienne de race morkie, soit un croisement entre un bichon maltais et un yorkshire-terrier. Lorsque je suis all\u00e9 la chercher chez l\u2019\u00e9leveur tout pr\u00e8s de Montr\u00e9al, elle pesait \u00e0 peine deux livres! Nous l\u2019avons baptis\u00e9e Charlotte, mais tout le monde dans le quartier la surnomme Chari. Aujourd\u2019hui \u00e2g\u00e9e de trois ans, elle a atteint sa taille adulte et p\u00e8se pr\u00e8s de 8,5\u00a0livres.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sa pr\u00e9sence nous comble d\u2019amour et chaque fois que je la regarde, je ne peux m\u2019emp\u00eacher de sourire et de la caresser. Sauf peut-\u00eatre lorsqu\u2019elle se met \u00e0 aboyer au milieu de la nuit, ce qui me donne momentan\u00e9ment envie de la donner en adoption\u2026 mais bon, je m\u2019\u00e9loigne du sujet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ironiquement, malgr\u00e9 sa petite taille, elle adore se livrer \u00e0 des jeux de bataille dans notre lit. Si nous la retournons sur le dos et lui mordillons le ventre, elle nous mord en retour, mais juste pour s\u2019amuser et jamais au point de nous faire mal. Un jour, j\u2019ai pris conscience qu\u2019elle ne craint pas que je la blesse. Je fais 20\u00a0fois sa taille, et pourtant, la dynamique de pouvoir physique n\u2019existe pas pour elle; autrement dit, elle ne se pr\u00e9occupe pas du fait que les choses pourraient mal tourner. Sa confiance en nous est absolue.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C\u2019est certain que nous avons cr\u00e9\u00e9 un environnement qui favorise son sentiment de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 en lui faisant sentir que rien de mal ne lui arrivera dans notre famille. Puisque nous la traitons avec soin, elle ignore ce qu\u2019est la maltraitance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">D\u2019autre part, la plupart d\u2019entre nous ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait la connaissance ou entendu parler d\u2019un animal victime de s\u00e9vices graves de fa\u00e7on prolong\u00e9e et qui, d\u00e8s qu\u2019un humain s\u2019en approche, tremble ou urine. Ils en sont venus \u00e0 s\u2019attendre \u00e0 se faire maltraiter, car c\u2019est ce qu\u2019ils connaissent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Je vous invite \u00e0 transposer cette situation \u00e0 toutes vos relations humaines, que ce soit \u00e0 la maison ou au travail, avec vos coll\u00e8gues ou vos clients, ou m\u00eame au lien que vous entretenez avec vous-m\u00eame. Imaginez que les personnes de votre entourage sont convaincues que vous n\u2019avez que leur int\u00e9r\u00eat et leur bien \u00e0 c\u0153ur, et voient en vous gentillesse, g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 et bienveillance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cela susciterait-il des conversations plus ouvertes et constructives? Cela influencerait-il l\u2019engagement de vos coll\u00e8gues de travail? Quelles r\u00e9percussions cela aurait-il sur le succ\u00e8s de votre offre de produits ou de services si vos clients savent que l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9 est au c\u0153ur de vos valeurs? Quelles seraient les retomb\u00e9es pour votre marque, qu\u2019elle soit personnelle ou organisationnelle?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nous finissons tous par blesser quelqu\u2019un \u00e0 un moment ou \u00e0 un autre, la plupart du temps sans le vouloir. Cela fait partie de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience humaine. Nous pouvons toutefois veiller \u00e0 toujours assumer l\u2019enti\u00e8re responsabilit\u00e9 de nos actions et de leur incidence sur les personnes qui nous entourent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Et vous?<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quelle attitude devriez-vous adopter, vous ou votre organisation, pour que l\u2019ensemble de vos interlocuteurs se sentent en confiance comme Charlotte?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La confiance est fondamentale et sacr\u00e9e.
